Here's a review on Ugreen 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub w/Type-C OTG Adapter. The 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub simply helps you to connect up to 4 USB devices to your PC or Laptop, items such as external HDD's, flash drives, mouse, keyboard, speakers, memory cards etc. Given that I only have a single USB port in my laptop (Microsoft Surface) it provides me with that bit of extra ports to effectively convert my laptop into a full fledged PC while at home.

What I have come to appreciate using this product is the stability and security it provides.
The USB splitter comes with built-in protection in case of over-voltage/over-current, hence keeping my external drives safe from getting fried.

Given that this comes equipped w/USB 3.0 which allows for faster data transfer (up to 5GBps, 10X faster than USB 2.0 (480 Mbps)) I was able to skip the transfer time significantly.
If you have a USB Type-C port mobile device like me transferring of data directly to your portable HDD/Flash drive is a breeze.
p.s. There were a couple of occasion where I found the app hanged half-way but this was due to my device power-saving Android setting so be sure to check that if you notice the app hanging halfway thru any transfer.

I'm a sucker for anything that is designed with the user in mind. That said the USB Hub is light on hand and is easy to use even for a novice like me.
The manual did not provide for much but its fairly straight forward so you shouldn't have any issues to get started quickly.

Overall this product does what it says. Product was easy to use without too much fuss and a little bit of tinkering.
It also feels secure with the ports sitting snugly and whats more is that it offers the latest in data transfer rate.
