Hi guys! Today I'll be reviewing Alcatroz Xplorer GO! 100 BT Bluetooth Keyboard which is released around June 2018. It's a lightweight portable wireless keyboard that can connect to Windows, Android and iOS devices. With this keyboard paired to your smart devices, it frees up screen estate that is taken up by the screen keyboard so you can view more content and allows typing your input much quickly. Although it doesn't provide docking feature like Xplorer Dock 1 and Xplorer Dock 2, it is twice lighter in weight. Before diving into the review, let's view the product features and specifications.

Note: The Alcatrox Xplorer GO! 100 BT Bluetooth Keyboard has 2 models: Black and White (the one I'm reviewing). What's the difference between this 100BT and 300BT? Both shares the same feature, but the 100BT has the on/off button and Bluetooth pairing button located at the bottom.

Design

Design-1: The keyboard uses similar layout as a laptop keyboard. Low-profile quiet non-tactile keys. Each keys have symbols stickied on its surface rather than having laser etched to it. This keyboard offers multimedia shortcut functionality, which can be accessed by pressing the Fn (Function Key) and with the highlighted blue symbols. This allows user to conveniently play/pause or skip to a different music track, modify the volume settings or mute and etc. There is a LED indicator at the top right which lights up for 1 second when you turn on the keyboard. When you activate the Bluetooth, the LED will start blinking to indicate is ready for pairing.

Design-2: The bottom have a switch to turn on/off the keyboard. Press the "Connect" button to enable the keyboard to pair with your devices. You will need to search the "Xplorer GO! 100BT" by performing a Bluetooth scan in yor smartphone/tablet to pair with it. The top right corner has an opening which you can place 2 AAA batteries. The serial number of the product is located on the bottom as well. There are 4 rubberized mini-feet that prevents the keyboard from slipping.

Verdict

Pros
1. Quiet and non-tactile. Does not irritate your colleague with keyboard noise.
2. Lightweight and portable. Easily fit in tight space in travelling bags.
3. Has a long connectivity range up to 10 meters when there aren’t any obstructions between the connected devices.
4. Automatically goes into standby-mode if left unused for 10 minutes to conserve battery. Can activate it again from standby-mode by pressing any button.
5. Provides media access keys as shortcuts to activate these softwares conveniently.

Cons
1. Lacks of sufficient gap between the Function Keys, Number Keys and Alphabet Keys, which makes it difficult for user to identify the key position.

Mediocre
1. The keyboard relies on AAA batteries to power up this device. This may cause inconveniences having to replace batteries when they are drained.
2. Typing on keyboard button hard will feel the keyboard flex a little which may not be a good experience for some users.
3. The gaps between each button for the alphabets and other symbols is slightly narrow which can lead to accidentally pressing the incorrect buttons.
4. The keyboard buttons are not concaved, which makes it slightly difficult for touch typist to position their fingers correctly.

Aorus RGB RAM Review, Buy 2 free 2 Dummies XD

Today we have the brand spanking new Aorus RGB Memory! It comes in a 16GB (2x8GB) kit along with 2 dummy modules. Let's take a closer look!

Who would have thought that a motherboard and graphics card manufacturer would be the one to come up with such a brilliant idea? This is the first 2x8GB kit to come with 2 dummy modules that syncs up with the rest of the kit. Aorus' RGB Fusion is pretty robust though probably not the best we've seen on the market. However, the LED brightness is just nice so you won't wanna poke your eyes out.

The Aorus RGB RAM is also using Samsung B dies but we couldn't get it stable over 3800Mhz no matter how much we bumped the voltage. For everyday use, we suggest starting with the XMP profile, bump the system memory multiplier to 36.00 and fine tune the timings manually without bumping up the voltage too much.

My thoughts
Clear night videos due to the Sony Starvis IMX307 sensor.

Built-in eMMC dashcam from DDPai like the Mini3. Great to prevent people from getting lousy or imitation micro SD cards to use.

If the Mix3 is using a super capacitor instead of a lithium battery will be good for use in hot countries.

Transferring out the videos is simple. Just plug the Mix3 into a computer and Windows will recognize it like an external storage drive.

[attachmentid=9963418]

The Mix3’s G sensor (mid-level sensitivity) is almost as accurate as the Thinkware F200 I’m using in my car. First time seeing this from a dashcam from China.

This is a guide on how to create UEFI GPT Windows 10 Installer Using Genuine Windows 10 ISO

Very Important: This guideline is only suitable for motherboards that has native support for UEFI
Please don't follow this guideline on older motherboards that only support Legacy BIOS

1. Download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
Windows 10 Media Creation Tool will allow you to download genuine Windows 10 ISO with no modification whatsoever unlike the ISO from torrent / 3rd party websites that may have been injected with malware / trojan or whatsoever virus

2. Download Rufus - https://rufus.akeo.ie/
Rufus is a tool for you to create a UEFI friendly Windows 10 installer using a flashdrive

3. Run The Windows 10 Media Creation Tool

4. Choose "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file for another PC" then press Next

MSI PS42 short review, Light and slim Laptop

Greetings all,

I'm just here to share a bit on the MSI PS42 Prestige laptop I bought last week. Sadly currently Malaysia only have the Intel i5-8250U version instead of i7, but it's already fit my requirement for office work and some
light editing for my photo and the such which lasted more than 7 hour (constant working) without charging. If you wish to know more, the spec of the laptop as such:

8th Gen. Intel® CoreTM i5 processor
Windows 10 Home
NVIDIA® GeForce® MX150 2GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics
Ultra-light 1.19kg, Ultra-slim 15.9mm
Thin bezel IPS-level panel
Fingerprint sensor

At first, the laptop look heavier than I thought, but it's really weight around 1KG after lighting it myself and checking at MSI's page and including the charger it's not even heavy at all.

Summary:
- This Hikvision 8MP IP Camera is able to capture decent amount of light as compared to the 4MP IP Camera.
- It mades this 8MP camera more favourable to be use in dark environment.
- Alongside with the ability to capture greater amount of details due to more megapixel, this camera has wide dynamic range function to further balance the overall video with both overexposure and underexposure area.
- Without any recorder unit needed, this IP camera is able to work independently as recording can be done by inserting microSD card into the camera.
- The downside of this 8MP IP Camera is lacking of internal microphone, but you can connect external microphone to the audio input to have audio support alongside with your video recording.
- Smart H.265 function embedded in this IP camera reduce video file size and streaming bandwidth even more.
- This IP camera runs warm during operation, but the temperature won't hurt you when you hold it.

My thoughts
A great improvement over the F100. Videos are much clearer for this entry level dual dashcam from Thinkware. But I wished that Thinkware should have considered 1080p for both front and rear cameras instead of the 720p for the rear camera.

And most importantly is able to sync date and time and update firmware using the Thinkware Cloud app.

My thoughts
This Mini Q9 have a unique Design with separate lens housing which can rotate 340°. Really like using the OBDII power plug to power the Mini Q9.

Didn’t really like the proprietary power cable as can’t use normal USB chargers.
